The tanner's daughter

They tell me I can have any woman, then they tell me I can't have her.

They tell me "She's only the tanner's daughter". He should be grateful.

They tell me "She's only a peasant girl". She's MY peasant girl.

They tell me "She's spoken for". I speak more loudly.

They tell me "She doesn't want you". She will.

I will have her. I will make her want me. In the meantime...I'll keep her...safe...
